Located in Orange County, approximately 10 miles southwest of Durham and 25 miles northwest of Raleigh, in the Research Triangle Area, Chapel Hill was founded in 1793 as the site of the state’s first university. In more recent times, Chapel Hill has also become known for its plethora of award-winning restaurants, with Bon Appetit magazine designating Chapel Hill as “America’s Foodiest Small Town.” Today, Chapel Hill is well-known for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which is the largest employer in the county and recently launched the Carolina Economic Development Strategy in partnership with the Town of Chapel Hill to revitalize downtown Chapel Hill and encourage UNC-related business development.
Chapel Hill continues to experience a high rate of growth as people move into the area for employment and educational opportunities. With that growth comes an increased demand for housing that is built quickly, using stock materials that lower the overall cost. Unfortunately, those stock materials are not designed to last and leave homeowners without adequate storage space. Thankfully, Edgewood Cabinetry can remedy those problems by replacing stock particleboard and plywood cabinets with customized all-wood cabinets that offer stylish, durable, high-quality solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, libraries, home offices, laundry rooms, closets, and more.
